Qualifier (BDQ) tournaments will be 2-day events, with 2 rounds of AWSA
class E slalom each day, limited to 50 paid skiers. The top 16 skiers from
Saturday will compete on Sunday. On Sunday the top 8 single scores from
Saturday will be seeded 1 thru 8, and seeds 9 thru 16 will be based on
cumulative buoy count.

Directions:
From the Orlando area:
Take I-4 Westbound, exit
on #68, 535 North (Lake Buena
Vista.) In about a half mile, 535
turns left on Palm.
Follow 535 for 6-1/2 miles, turn left at the light
at Reams Road. Go about 4 miles, past the Disney cast entrance to
the stop sign at Hancock Road. Turn left on Hancock/Seidel, then an
immediate right on Porter Road. The site is 1/2 mile on the
right.
From the
Tampa/Lakeland area:
Take I-4 Eastbound, exit on U.S. 27 North
(Clermont.) Go 8 miles then take 192 East. Go
about 1-1/2 mile then turn North (Left) on Avalon Road, which is
545. Go 5 miles, turn right on Seidel Road, go about 1-1/2 miles,
Seidel becomes Lake Hancock Road, then turn left on Porter Road, site is
1/2 mile on right. |

The top 8
skiers from each BDQ will advance to the Championship. The balance of 50
skiers will be eligible as follows: the first 50% of openings to be filled
based on best single scores, and the second 50% of openings to be filled
based on best cumulative scores. Any ties to be broken by back-up scores
from multiple BDQ events.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
The BDQ series is
open to Men 3 thru Men 6 who have not placed in the top 10 in a pro
tournament in the past 3 years, or who are over age 50. Entries will be
limited to 50 paid skiers, first come first served. Entry fee is
$150.
